Disclaimer
This report provides an overview about the research on Digital Preservation of
initiatives co-funded by the European Commission in the ICT programme. A
subject as complex as the topic research can be seen from many points of view.
In order to open new perspectives, we tried to give structured summaries of the
activities from different angles.
The range of research projects and the large number of deliverables, publications
and outcomes make this report a challenging task. The representation
of any single project cannot be complete. We tried to consider all major contributions
of the research projects in the area of digital preservation. All material
used for this report is publicly available.
